Delete your EvalGain account
You can ask us to delete your EvalGain account and its data at any time, from the app or by email. This page applies to the EvalGain website and the EvalGain apps for Android and iPhone, run by Bodhynex Technologies Private Limited.
How to request deletion
In the app or on the website
- Log in and open Profile.
- Tap Delete account and confirm.
By email (if you can't log in)
Email contact@evalgain.com from the email address of your account, with the subject "Delete my account".
We email you to confirm before deleting anything, so that nobody else can delete your account. After you confirm, we delete the account within 30 days.
What we delete
- Your account: the parent's email address, password and the child's first name.
- Uploaded question papers and answer sheets, including all page images.
- Evaluation results, reports, the Error Book and progress data.
- Notifications, support requests and app device tokens.
Unused credits are lost when the account is deleted and can't be refunded.
What we keep, and for how long
- Payment and invoice records, for as long as tax and accounting laws require (in India, usually up to 8 years).
- Records of your consent and of the deletion request, as proof that we acted on it, for as long as the law requires.
- Backups, which are overwritten in the normal backup cycle.
Anything else is deleted or anonymised so it can no longer be linked to you. See the Privacy Policy for details.
